Ready for Some Rest and Relaxation
OP (Original Poster) took two weeks of vacation at his current job. However, it didn’t start off as he wanted it to when a random guy called him on the first day.
A Random Caller
On his first day off, right in the “middle of the morning,” at 6:00, he got a call. Since it was early, he didn’t answer.
Persistent Calls
However, after the first call, another three came one after the other. On the fourth call, OP finally decided to answer.
Come Here, Right Now!
The moment OP answered, he was shocked! The voice on the other end of the line said, “Hello? Where are you? It’s your first day. We’re waiting for you.”
You’re Not Looking For Me
OP was confused. After all, as far as he knew, he had “no f****** clue” who called him.
He added, “I didn’t have any job or anything planned that day; I’m supposed to hang out with my friends.”
My Apologies
So, he went ahead and told the caller that he had the wrong number.
OP said, “D***. Sorry, dude, you got the wrong number. No clue what you’re talking about.”
The End?
OP thought that he had solved his problem. So, he made himself comfortable once again and went back to sleep.
Never-Ending Disturbance
Unfortunately for OP, the random caller, whom he now referred to as “the a**hole,” called him two more times in the next hour.

Then, he left OP a message where he said that “young people are lazy.”
The caller also said he “can’t believe” that OP “lied” to him after a great interview.

After a while, the employer ended up calling OP again. This time, OP picked up the phone.
He knew this would be the last time he’d deal with the man. So, he said, “Yes, I know I’m late. I’m on my way. I’ll be here soon, promise!”
Closing the Deal
After that, OP immediately hung up. He then blocked the man’s number before going back to sleep once again.

OP couldn’t believe someone like the random caller existed. So, he was thankful and recognized how lucky he was with his current employer.
