A Nice Neighborhood
A few years before this story was posted, OP (Original Poster) lived in a house a block from a public park. It was a large park, and one Saturday, she noticed that two soccer games were occurring.
Coming Home to Strangers
She hadn’t paid the games any mind when she left for the grocery store. However, 45 minutes later, she noticed a truck parked beside her property when she returned.
To make matters worse, she said, “The occupants of that truck were on my property.”
Setting the Scene
OP noted that two children were wearing soccer uniforms, the kids’ parents were there, and a large Doberman was with them, too. She said, “The Doberman was lying on a picnic blanket, the parents were setting up their family’s picnic lunch, and the children were chasing each other.”
All these things were happening on her front lawn, and she couldn’t believe what she saw!
Heated Confrontations
Once OP pulled into her driveway, she immediately confronted the family and asked them why they were on her property. The mom snarkily answered, “What does it look like? We are eating lunch.”
This Is a Private Property
OP then told them the park was a block away and they should have set up their picnic there. Again, the mom was rude and said, “It’s more peaceful here.”
It was OP’s private property, so she couldn’t understand why they refused to move.

However, again, the family refused to go anywhere.

OP walked beside the family to the outside tap, which was attached to her sprinkler system, and turned it on. With water everywhere, the family started screaming.
They grabbed their stuff and ran back to their truck.

As they were leaving, the mom and dad continued screaming obscenities at her. They even told her that they were going to “get her!”
Second Revenge
Because of the parents’ threats, OP downloaded her security camera footage that caught their truck’s license plate. She then brought it to her neighbor, who “just happened to be a police officer” working that day.
