Errands Day
OP (Original Poster) decided to go to the mall for a “small errand.” Since it was the weekend, the mall was crazy busy, and parking was “scarce.”
Looking High and Low
OP drove around the parking lot, trying to locate an empty parking spot for some time.
Finally, OP spotted what looked like two open parking spaces and thought it must surely be his “lucky day.”
Heinous Action
However, as OP neared the area, his heart sank.
There weren’t open parking spots at all. A pick-up truck had managed to park sideways and take up four entire parking spaces at once!
Any Other Day
If OP had been driving his work truck, he would’ve just “moved on” and spared this heinous act no further thought.
However, he happened to be in his “super compact clown car” with “incredible gas mileage.” That wasn’t the only great thing about his car, though; since it was tiny, it could fit into outrageously small spaces, such as behind the truck.
Going On About His Business
So, OP did just that. He parked his tiny car into what was left of the parking spot behind the truck.
Then, OP went into the mall and continued on with his errands.
Wrapping It Up
After some time, OP finished and exited the mall.
As he approached his car, he spotted the owner of the truck walking around, seemingly frustrated. As OP neared, he saw why.
Perfect Revenge Realized
Another tiny vehicle had pulled into the parking spot in front of the truck, entirely trapping the truck in by making it unable to pull out forward. The owner of the second tiny car had managed to “upgrade” OP’s petty revenge.
Misplaced Blame
OP chuckled as he put away the single item he’d purchased in the mall.
However, as OP started to get into his car, he noticed the owner of the truck throwing his hands up and shaking his head at OP. But it didn’t stop there!
Throwing a Tantrum
The truck owner actually called OP a “f****** trash hole,” as if it were OP’s fault for the situation the truck driver was in.
Last OP had checked, no one had forced the truck driver to selfishly take up more parking spaces than reasonably needed.
Hunger Pangs
Now that OP thought about it, he realized he hadn’t eaten lunch yet.
Sure, the food court lines would be “crazy long.” However, a fresh pretzel sounded perfect and would really “hit the spot.”
Head on In
So, OP locked his tiny car back up and headed back inside. It wasn’t his fault or problem the truck driver was trapped.
Measuring Things Out
As OP neared the entrance of the mall, he looked back.
The truck driver was now exiting his vehicle after realizing OP had left. He was now walking around his truck, inspecting the distance in an attempt to measure if he could “shimmy his truck out” or not.
Some Leisure Time
OP took his time with ordering his food and eating. He also spent some time replying to a “few texts and emails.”
However, it didn’t take him too long to get bored. About 6 to 10 minutes later, OP set out.
Pushed Into Submission
As OP neared his tiny car, he saw his “new best friend,” the truck driver, sitting in his vehicle and “resigned to his fate.” This time, the truck owner avoided making eye contact with OP, but OP could see him keeping close tabs on him through the corners of his eyes and in the mirrors.
OP then backed out of the parking spot, with the truck driver reversing almost in sync with him. They both went their separate ways and got on with their day, but OP surely made him pay for what he did!
