OP (Original Poster) had booked a 12-hour flight months in advance. She even paid an extra $55 to choose where her seat was: at the very front of the plane.
Being Tardy Is Foolhardy
She had taken extra care in booking early and choosing a front-row seat because she needed to “arrive somewhere on time upon landing.”
Coincidentally, the seat also happened to have extra legroom. However, this fact didn’t matter much to OP, as she’s only 4’11”.
Calm Before the Storm
Everything was going well, and OP boarded the plane without issues. She took her seat, buckled her seatbelt, and waited for the plane to take off.
Giant Complaints
However, minutes into her flight, everything started to go wrong!
As soon as the seatbelt sign switched off, a towering man loomed over her and demanded she change seats with him because he’s 6’4” and “flying is painful for him.”
Back of the Line
OP admitted she was “open to it” until she saw that his seat was all the way in the back of the plane. That meant she’d be last getting off the plane after it landed, increasing her odds of being late to where she needed to be.

Throughout the flight, the man would get up, walk past her aisle seat, and slam into her.
