OP (Original Poster) was furious at the passengers who were inconsiderate of a mother and her son trying to find seats on a packed train. The online community agreed with him and shunned the passengers!
Packed Train
OP is on a packed train going from Milton Keynes to London. He said he was looking at two people sitting on the aisle and blocking the window seats with their bags.
There Are Seats Here!
At first, he didn’t pay any mind to what they were doing. However, he then saw a mother and her son looking for seats.
OP said he grabbed them and told them there were available seats near him; they just had to ask the people to move their bags.

When they got near the other two passengers, OP asked them if they minded moving their stuff so that the mother and son could sit together.
Start of the Problem
After he asked, the two passengers stood up and asked him where they should move. OP said he was tired at this point.
He was possibly already starting to get frustrated, too, so he bluntly replied, “I don’t care; just allow these guys to sit down.”
Starting an Argument
Because of what he said, one of the passengers started arguing with OP. The person said, “I’m sitting by my colleague.”
However, OP noted that the person’s colleague was on the phone the whole time.
More Drama
The passenger still hadn’t stopped and told OP, “If someone wants to sit here, they could just ask.”
At this point, the mother and son had already walked off to avoid all the drama unfolding.
Use Your Common Sense and Be Considerate
OP admitted that he could have handled things better but was adamant that the British public needed to learn to be kinder toward others.
He said, “The British public is really so pathetic they can’t use their common sense, have a bit of consideration for others, and let people sit in the available seats.”
