Soon-To-Be-Wed Couple
OP (Original Poster) started her post by mentioning she’ll be married to her fiancé soon. She had also already bought her wedding dress three weeks before this was posted.
Her Future Monster-In-Law
However, her future mother-in-law kept bugging her about trying on her wedding dress for some weird reason. OP refused, but she continued persisting and reasoning that she “loves” wedding dresses so much.
In short, she’s obsessed with them.
It’s a Hard No
Despite how much her mother-in-law-to-be insisted, OP was firm in refusing her requests.
She knew it was the last straw when her future mother-in-law offered her $100 to let her wear it.
OP would never allow it, and she was over the conversation.
The Sketchy Fiancé
However, little did OP know that the issue wasn’t closed as she thought. A day before this was posted, OP went home early, shocking her fiancé; she immediately noticed something was off about him.
Unlike before, he freaked out after seeing her. It even got weirder when he tried to block her from entering her room while texting somebody.
An Unpleasant Surprise
When OP opened the door, it was as if her spirit had left her body. Standing in her room is her fiancé’s mom, wearing her wedding dress!
Due to utter shock, OP immediately took out her phone and captured a photo of her future mother-in-law.
She Demanded Payback
Her fiancé and his mom freaked out, and more drama ensued when OP demanded her future mother-in-law cover the cost of her wedding gown. She said she had three days to pay for the dress, and if she failed to do so, then their whole family would see the photo.
Both her future mother-in-law and husband were in shock, and they blew up at OP.
Playing the Victim
Threatened by OP’s words, the mother-in-law-to-be started crying and left OP’s house.
On the other hand, instead of siding with his future wife, OP’s fiancé told her she was “overreacting” because his mom just tried the dress on. He couldn’t believe she was serious, as no harm had been done.

OP hadn’t replied to her fiancé yet, as it seemed there was no justice in what he wanted. She doesn’t want him to pay for it; instead, she wants his mom to be responsible for her actions and pay for the dress she wore—without OP’s permission.
